World’s First Medium Format Mirrorless Camera “Hasselblad X 1D-50 C” Launched at $8,995

“Hasselblad” the Swedish Technology Firm has launched World’s First Medium Format Mirrorless Camera dubbed as Hasselblad X 1D-50 C at $8,995 only. In between the Retro & Futuristic, The Camera has a flat design and 150 x 98 x 71 mm dimensions. The Camera is dust & weather resistant and has interchangeable type of lenses in it. The X1D has a 50 MP CMOS sensor in it as well as offers dynamic range up to 14 stops & ISO range from 100-25600.
To connect with the user easily, the camera has 3 inches wide LCD TFT type 920K dot display screen with full touch input capability. The screen also has multi-touch control as well as shortcuts for the functions used frequently on the camera. The display screen and touch quality is very good thus the camera interface is almost same to a Smart Phone interface, means really to easy to use. The camera uses XCD lenses, along with an integral central shutter (Shutter Speed 60 minutes to 1/2000th Second).
The camera shoots in loss less compressed Hasselblad 3FR (RAW), TIFF & JPEG image formats, the RAW one will be saved on SD Card 1st JPEG on the other as this camera has dual card slots. It will allows the users to always record full HD videos. The connectivity features of the camera are Wifi, GPS Support, USB-C Host Type Connection Support, Mini HDMI Port & Audio in/out as well as other things which the camera has are Nikon Compatible Hot Shoe, 2.36 M-dot XGA Electronic View Finder, Dual SD Card Slots and 1080/30p HD Video Recording Capacity.
At the time of launch the camera is launched along with two auto focus camera lenses, first 45 mm length & f/3.5 apertures ($2295) and second 90 mm length f/3.2 apertures ($2695). All H lenses can be used on this camera with help of an adapter, which means that total 14 lenses available for the user at launch of this camera. The firm also has said that a 30 mm length lens will be made available at Photokina.
$8,995 is the price of Hasselblad X1D-50 C’s body only but the complete package along with the two lenses described above the price will be $13,985 and the camera will be delivered to the user at August end. Hasselblad CEO Perry Oosting said that the new camera will extend all the limits of photography up to a new higher level of quality and performance. The only thing which the camera not has in it is “Built-in Flash”.
