Xiaomi is apparently working towards launching the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, the successor to the Xiaomi Mi Note. The latter was released last year in January 2015 and did pretty well in terms of response and sales. Now, let’s dive into the rumoured specs on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 – Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and an Adreno 530 GPU, with support for the Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. It will likely pack 4 GB or 6 GB RAM with 32 GB/64 GB/128 GB of internal storage. According to reports, it will be a 4G dual-SIM device with a 4,000 mAh battery.

The phone will probably have a 16 MP/12 MP dual camera unit with dual-tone LED flash, capable of recording 2160p/1080p videos at 30 fps. According to our sources, the device will likely sport a 5.7-inch curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and a resolution of 1080 x 1920 or 1440 x 2560 pixels.
Other expected features in the phone include Quick Charge 3.0, a fingerprint sensor, Hi-Fi audio, NFC, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), etc. If rumours are to be believed, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come in two colours – white and black – and cost about Rs. 34,999.

According to Manu Kumar Jain, Head of Xiaomi India, one out of every nine phones shipped online in India during Q2 (2016) was a Redmi Note 3.
