Microsoft’s Surface Tablets are high end and feature rich tablets but that is not what is gaining attention but the new hybrid tablet Eve V, powered by Windows 10 which caught attention of Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft. Microsoft tablet was designed and manufactured using user community input and right from keyboard to the cover material everything was created on after receiving Eve Community Inputs. The website for the community was created by Karatsevidis and based on suggestions for the device given on the community the tablet was designed by Microsoft.
Product and its starting Price
The sale of the tablet started from a price of $1,399 (Rs 96,000) and its complete production is funded by IndieGoGo Campaign which will be used to cover all the manufacturing costs along with handling of the pre-orders as reported by Business Insider. The earlier funding was done by Intel and it was already confirmed by them the manufactured product is fully functional and is completely packaged product. The tablet was listed on IndieGoGo which fetched it around $936.352 (Rs 6.4 crores) or 1,248% of the starting target of $75,000 (Rs 52 Lakh).
Tablet caught attention of Satya Nadella
The unique way by which the tablet has been created based on the community suggestion was enough to catch attention of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. It was confirmed by CEO of Eve, Konstantinos Karatsevidis to Business Insider that Satya Nadella showed interest in the product after reading about it and ordered for his unit expected to be received once the shipping starts from February.
