Meizu launched its M5s in China and will be available for sale from Today

On Wednesday Meizu launched its latest M5s in China in different variants of internal memory and the phone will be available for sale from 20th February onwards. As of now it is only launched in China but soon is expected to be available in International markets. The phone is the successor of the previously launched phone Meizu M5.

Features of the Meizu M5s

• The phone is powered by 1.3GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6753 SoC processor and is runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

• The phone flaunts HD display screen of 5.2 inch along with screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It comes with IPS display along with 282 ppi.

• The phone has a rear camera of 13-megapixel with features like f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, two tone flash. The phone has front camera of 5-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture, ArcSoft beautification software.

• The phone has a internal memory of 3GB RAM along with an inbuilt storage in two variants of 16GB ROM and 32GB ROM. The phone memory is expandable by up to 128GB in microSD card.

Connectivity and other features

The Meizu phone has great connectivity features with dual SIM support and is compatible with 4G LTE for blazing fast internet support. The phone also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with bands of 2.4GHz and 5GHz, bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack and Micro-USB. The phone is backed by battery support of 3000mAh enabled with 18W fast charger. The phone supports multiple sensors which include gyroscope, ambient light sensor, infrared, magnetometer, accelerometer etc. The phone weighs only 143 grams. The phone has a fingerprint sensor that is embedded on the home button and as claimed by the company it opens the smartphone in just 0.2 seconds.

Conclusion

The phone is launched in China and will be available for sale for 20th February onwards. There are two variants in terms of storage that are launched with one with 64GB launched at CNY 799 (around Rs 7,800) and another with 32GB launched at CNY 999 (roughly Rs 9,700). The phone will be available in 4 colour variants which are Moonlight Silver, Rose Gold, Star Grey and Champagne Gold colours. The phone is as of now only launched in its home country and there is no information about its availability anywhere else.
