HTC India Has Launched U Ultra & U Play in India : Cost, Release Date, Specs and More

HTC India has launched its new flagship Smartphone “HTC U Ultra” along with a new Smartphone “HTC U Play”, on Tuesday. U Play is priced at Rs 39,990 and U Ultra is priced at Rs 59,990. Both these Smartphones will be available in March (U Ultra from 6 March and U Play in Mid March). Both HTC Smartphones support Dual SIM and both will be available in four color variants (Black, Pink, Blue and White).

Highlights of The Devices :

Biggest highlight of both these Smartphones is the “Sense Companion Feature” which is based on AI and keeps an eye on users’ daily pattern to provide Recommendations and Advice for the users. U Ultra has a “Ticker Style” Display which is called Priority Screen and the “Sense Companion” will show Alerts & Notifications on this Display. Both the Devices will come along with HTC USonic Earphones which has “Sonar Like Pulse” to analyze users’ ear and adapt it easily. HTC is also giving One Year Insurance (For Liquid Damage and Physical Damage to the Device) with the Devices. If one buys the U Ultra or U Play via Standard Chartered Card (Credit or Debit) then he/she will get 7.5% Cash Back (if they buy device from 6 March to 31 May).

HTC U Ultra Smartphone :

The HTC U Ultra smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Sense UI customization. It packs 5.7 Inch QHD Super LCD Display Screen (1440 x 2560 Pixels Resolution) along with a Secondary 2 Inch Display Screen (1040 x 160 Pixels Resolution). Display Screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Powered by Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Chipset, It has 4 GB RAM & 64 GB Internal Storage (Expandable up to 2 TB). On the Optics Front, It has 12 Ultra-Pixel Primary Camera along with 16-megapixel Secondary Camera. Other Features of HTC U Ultra are 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi, NFC, DLNA, HTC Connect, USB 3.1 Type-C, Fingerprint Sensor (on Home Button) and 3000 mAh Battery (with Quick Charge 3.0).

HTC U Play Smartphone :

HTC has launched the 4 GB RAM + 64 GB Internal Storage (Expandable up to 2 TB) variant of HTC U Play in India. It packs 5.2 Inch Full HD Super LCD Display Screen (Supports 1080 x 1920 Pixels Resolution) with Gorilla Glass. Powered by Octa Core Media-Tek Helio P10 SoC, it has 16-megapixel Rear & 16-megapixel Front Cameras. Other Features of the Smartphone are 4G LTE with VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi, NFC, DLNA, HTC Connect, USB 2.0 Type-C, Sensors (Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Digital Compass, Gyroscope and Fingerprint Sensor on Home Button) and 2500 mAh Battery.
