Datawind (The Canadian Firm) has launched its new Smartphone in India. The Smartphone is dubbed as “Datawind MoreGMax 3G6”, the firm is promoting the device as Phablet. It is a budget Smartphone but the availability details are not revealed by Datawind. Biggest highlight of the device is that Datawind (in Collaboration with Reliance) is giving One Year Free Internet Access along with the Smartphone.

The new Datawind MoreGMax 3G6 Smartphone is priced at Rs 5999. The highlight attached with this new Smartphone is that the buyer will get “One Year Free Internet Access” along with the device. Datawind is promoting its new Smartphone as a Phablet. DataWind has come in collaboration with Reliance to provide this “Free Internet” Service. There is condition to access this free Internet, New Smartphone users can use Internet via the Default Internet Browser (UbiSurfer) of MoreGMax 3G6 Smartphone (Streaming and Downloads won’t be available under this free internet scheme).

Specifications of the Datawind MoreGMax 3G6 Smartphone :

The Datawind Smartphone has a 6 Inch Display Screen (which takes it into Phablet segment). Powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor, it has 1 GB RAM. The Smartphone has 8 GB Internal Storage (expandable up to 32 GB). Connectivity Features of the device are GPRS/EDGE, 3G Network Support (It Not Support 4G and VoLTE), Bluetooth, Wifi and Micro-USB. On the optics front, it has an 8 megapixel Rear Camera and a 2 megapixel Front Camera. Battery Power of The Smartphone, Operating System Details and Availability Details of this new Smartphone is not revealed by the Company yet.

Suneet Singh Tuli (The President & CEO of Datawind) said that the firm has added a new Phablet to company’s device range with a massive display screen. He also said that Datawind is thinking about those users who not reached internet facilities yet and thus the firm is giving free internet along with this new Device. According to Price, this new Datawind device can be seen as a competitor to Xiaomi’s Redmi 4A Smartphone but the Redmi Device has various better specs than this Datawind Device. The free internet offer may attract the audience towards this new Smartphone or Phablet.
