The things which make this launch a Special One are such as 4 TB is the largest storage option available in the 850 Evo Series till now, this new device reads and writes at a speed of 540 MB/s and 520 MB/s and energy usage 3.1 watts for reading, 3.6 watts for writing, while idle 70 mW and while asleep 10 mW, Samsung has launched the 2 TB variant too which is available on Amazon India at a price of Rs 65000. This 4 TB SSD comes in the standard 2.5 inch form factor and it is only 7 mm thick.

According to AnandTech, Powered by Samsung V-NAND Technology with 48 layers, The Device has similar write endurance rating as the 2 TB variant, at 300 TB. SSD’s (Solid State Drives) are very much superior when compared with HDD (Hard Disk Drives) which is commonly used by several consumers for storage. The things which make them superior are SSD has lower latency & access time; these are more resistant to physical damages if compared with HDD because SSD not have any moving part in it. The Only con of these storage devices is that, it is very costly if compared by HDD. Device has a high price but prices are coming down day by day which means soon these will be available at affordable prices too.

4 TB Storage is well enough to store or transfer big amount of data quickly. Samsung offers a 2 TB variant which is available at Rs 65000 on Amazon India as well as announced world’s largest SSD with 16 TB Storage which will be useful for data centres.

If you are looking for a storage device which offers safe and secure storage as well as lightning fast data accessing and sharing speed then 4 TB SSD in 850 Evo Series is the best option among all storage options available in market till now.
