Apple’s Lightning-to-3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter and Lightning-powered EarPods costs $9 and $29 respectively

On 7th September, Apple launched its 2016 edition of iPhones – iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and the interesting part is both iPhones lacks the signature attachment of iPhone trend – the 3.5mm audio jack! Though no official announcements were made by the American conglomerate earlier about this, now it is official that Apple has slaughtered its 100 year old standard ear buds and replaced it with two new accessories like Lightning-powered earpods.

Both Lightning-powered EarPods and the Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter will be shipped at free of cost alongside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. But what if you lost them, unfortunately??? Well, if you happen to lose the adaptors or the Lightning EarPods, you can purchase them individually from the market. Apple has announced Lightning-powered EarPods for $29 in the US (Rs. 2,500) and Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter $9 in the US (Rs. 900) respectively.

• Bringing few significant modifications to its existing iPhone design and attachments, Apple Inc. has officially ditched its 100-years-old 3.5mm audio jack with its 2016 edition of iPhones.

• Instead of 3.5mm audio jack, Apple has introduced two new attached accessories like Lightning-powered EarPods and the Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter.

• The Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter is now listed on the official website of Apple, revealing some essential functionality and pricing details.

• Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter costs $9 which is Rs. 900 in Indian currency.

• The Lightning EarPods are tagged with $29 which is Rs. 2500 in India.

• Both attachments will be shipped for free with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

• Apart from these two new attachments, Apple also wrapped off a wireless AirPods which costs Rs. 15,400.

• Apple’s owner Tim Cook has described the new wireless AirPods as ‘usher in a new era of wireless listening’.

• Along with all these three accessories, Apple also introduced an innovative range of Beats headphones during the keynote.

Apart from three new accomplices like Lightning-powered EarPods, Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter, and Wireless AirPods, Apple also unveiled three new Beats Headphones like – Beats Solo3, BeatsX and powerbeats 3. All three headphones are reported to having W1 chip which provide prowers to the AirPods. As per the listing details, Beats Solo3 costs $299 (around 19,900 INR), Powerbeats 3 costs $199, and BeatsX costs $149. The Solo3 is already offered to acquire on Apple.com, while later this year other models are going to be available.
