Launch of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime in India on 19th September

Samsung in one of the largest consumer market in the world and it is not secret that the launch of every Samsung Phone is a grand event. This brings us to the launch of Samsung J7 Prime in India in an event in Gurgaon on 19th September. Last week Samsung did hint about launch of Galaxy J series phone but the invites from last week did not specifically mention the name.

Feature Highlights:

• It is an upgrade mode of its previous launch Samsung J7 and the major and exclusive different is addition of fingerprint sensor on home button.

• The advanced version or current launch is equipped with a 5.5 inch display screen with full HD and is IPS enabled. The display screen also sports 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for enhanced protection.

• The phone runs on 1.6GHz Octa Core processor for superior and brilliant performance and is powered by the latest Android Marshmallow.

• The 3G RAM for the upgraded version as compared to 2GB RAM in previous version is a major boost and comes with an internal storage of 16GB ROM with an expandable memory of 256GB against 128GB in previous version.

• The phone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with advanced camera features and a front camera of 8-megapixel with f/1.9 aperture.

Connectivity:

The phone offers great built in connectivity with support to 4G blazing fast internet connection and is also compatible with Wi-Fi connectivity. The phone supports bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, Micro-USB and is backed by a battery of 3300mAh capacity. It has all the advanced sensors for user friendly use and backed by better features. With the inclusion of fingerprint sensor in the home button it has imparted added security to the phone.

Conclusion:

The phone was launched in Vietnam in August with anticipation that it will be launched in India at Rs 18,790 but with a MRP of Rs 19,400. The phone is launched in India at a price of Rs 18,880 and is available for sale in online stores. It has better and upgraded features as compared to its previous launch. The phone is sleek, trendy and is packed with latest features and advanced technology and its launch has triggered a stir amongst the competitors. The performance and sale progress is yet to be revealed after the first launch.
