LG G6 tipped to be launched with Google Assistant, water-resistant body to replace removable battery

Last year has not been a very great year for LG and also saw reports flashing it to be worst mobile performance year. It did not deter the hopes of the company and is now working on the all new LG G6. The phone is expected to include Google Assistant – making it to be first non-pixel phone to be integrated with the feature.

Outlook change in the phone

There are some major changes expected out of the phone and if reports are true, it is to go for metal design and body instead of plastic body that was seen in LG G5. The phone in order to include water resistant features is expected to ditch the removable battery feature. As reported by CNET, the metal built is for water resistance feature.

Expected specifications of the phone

As per sources and reports by CNET, LG is in no mood to delay the launch of its flagship LG G6 and thus is expected to launch the LG phone with Snapdragon 821 Processor. The company is expected to launch the phone ahead of the Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S8 – with anticipation for more sales and market value. As far as Samsung Galaxy S8 is considered, it probably will be the first phone to come with Snapdragon 835 chipset leaving other devices using older chipset. If reports are true, GL G6 will be part non-pixel phone to be integrated with Google assistant and only phone apart from Google branded Pixel and Pixel XL. Google however may not be a long term associate with LG because some reports say that it will be opting for Alexa digital assistant from Amazon with phones flaunting the same by end of the year.

On making a comparison to LG G5, it sports narrow bezel and side panel of the phone displays running antenna bands.
