Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade most likely for Moto Z, Moto Z Force this week

Android 7.0 Nougat is the latest update of OS and is integrated in very less phones. In case of Moto Family the first rollout for upgrade was done on Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus with Android Nougat and now the upgrade will soon be available for Moto Z and Moto Z Force. The information of the upgrade was announced by the company in one of its blog post on Monday regarding the upgrade rolling out from starting of this week.
Checking for the update
It is very easy to check for the updates and it can be checked manually without much technical intervention. The update can be checked via settings followed by opening “About Phone” and then “System Updates”. This will give insight on the update and it was already committed by Motorola that Nougat Update will be rolling for Moto Z family in September.
No updates so far
Although there is an announcement made by Motorola that it will soon be receiving the updates for Android Nougat but the company is yet to provide any official changelog that would mark the update for the smartphones. However it is claimed by Motorola that on making the upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat, Moto Z and Moto Z Force will be possibly made compatible with Daydream which is Google’s platform for mobile VR. The update is long pending and there is lot of waiting on that matter of upgrade. With the upgrade Motorola claims that the two smartphones which are Moto Z and Moto Z Force, it will become first smartphone from another manufacture to be considered as Google Powered Daydream-ready phones. Daydream devices however require compatible headset and one can use Daydream View VR headset and controller from Google.
Conclusion
As of now the exact date for the upgrade is not yet out but the blog confirms that Moto Z and Moto Z Force will see the upgrade very soon. There are many changes the new upgrade to Nougat brought in Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus which included new Moto action which is Swipe to shrink the screen. A new setting to disable and enable screen lock was also added to Moto G4 Plus with the update and it can be done on touching the fingerprint sensor. Moto Z was launched at Rs 39,999 and with new upgrade will be worth the price.
