Android Smartphone Nokia D1C on GeekBench with specifications

It is not long that Nokia decided to integrate Android OS to the upcoming phones and with this the wait is almost over as Nokia D1C is spotted on GeekBeach with its specifications. The integration of Android OS will be a comeback for Nokia after the Lumia Series. The company as per reports is expected to launch 4 smartphones with Android support by 2016 and there has been lot of speculations about the launch. GeekBench takes the credit for displaying two Android based Nokia Smartphones Nokia 5320 and Nokia 1490 and now with the specification information of the awaited Nokia D1C, it is a benchmark site for the new launches by Nokia.

Features of the Nokia phone:

• It is expected to run on the premium Qualcomm Octa Core Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 1.4GHz along with Adreno 505 GPU.

• It is powered by the latest Android 7.0 Nougat according to the specifications presented on GeekBench.

• It is expected to be boasting of a 3GB RAM inbuilt memory but the internal memory in terms of ROM is yet to be specified.

• According to Geekbench it is expected to be a mid range or mid budget smartphone with great convenience and performance.

Ratings by Geekbench:

With the information and specification of Android based smartphones on Geekbench it is undoubtedly considered to benchmark site for the Finnish company. The awaited phone is given a score of 656 single core performance by Geekbench and a score of 3120 in case of multi-score performance which is average and decent. The information currently available on GeekBench is limited to only some specifications leaving customers or viewers with lot of speculations.

It is no secret that Android OS is ruling the charts in terms of performance and superiority. The Finnish mobile phone giant Nokia has now created few phones with Android integration to boost its sale. Nokia approved HMD Global the exclusive licence to manufacture Android based smartphones and tablets for coming 10 years since May 2016. Currently Nokia has already launched N1 tablet with Android and Z launcher based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will be aiming for greater success in the upcoming phones driven by Android. In an event Nokia already mentioned its plan of launching 4 Android smartphones and with D1C it is the third on cards to be launched.
