Asus Launched its Asus ZenPad Z10 Tablet in US at $229.99

Asus has recently launched the latest Asus ZenPad Z10 Tablet in US at $229.99 (approximately Rs 15,400) and will be made available to user via Verizon telecom carrier. The phone will be made available from Verizon stores from 13th October onwards but currently its launch in any other international market is yet to be announced. The phone offers exclusive 4G VoLTE connectivity and its 9.7 inch display screen is its major highlight.
Features of the tablet
• It is powered by Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow along with Zen UI interface and run on superior Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC along with a Adreno 510 GPU for efficient performance.
• It is packed with inbuilt memory of 3GB RAM along with an inbuilt memory of 32GB ROM which can be further expanded by up to 128GB in microSD.
• The Asus tablet sports a rear camera of 8-megapixel along with a front facing camera of 5-megapixel.
• It sports a 9.7 inch display screen along with 2048 x 1536 pixels for better clarity that is further added by IPS display.
Other features
The tablet has great connectivity features which is supported by 4G VoLTE support and is also compatible with Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.1 that enables instant transfer and also has Type – C USB. During the launch as seen in a note by Verizon, Benson Lin, Asus Corporate VP and GM for mobile communications said – “Asus is excited to launch the ZenPad Z10, further expanding our relationship and product offerings with Verizon. The Asus ZenPad Z10 brings a premium and powerful tablet experience at a great price.” This indicates Asus connection and the attempt to strengthen ties with Verizon.

The tablet is right now available only in Slate Grey variant but the rich feature rich integration at affordable price is expected to soar up the sale. The tablet is optimised for media usage and offers longer usage with a supported battery of 7800mAh. The tablet has Asus Exclusive VisualMaster Technology that optimises media features like contrast, motion clarity, colour, sharpness etc automatically based on situation of use. The technology chooses the best settings based on what is being viewed and where like settings for games, movies, reading etc. It is currently available in Verizon website and will be also available in Verizon stores from 13th October. The company is yet to declare any other market launch apart from US.
