After Bengaluru, Amazon now 2-hour delivery facility soon will be starting in more Indian cities

The premium Amazon Now 2-hour delivery system is expected to roll out in more Indian cities, after its grand success in Bengaluru. Thursday, during an event in Kolkata, Amazon India Head, FMCG, Saurabh Srivastava said that the trial of the 2-hours delivery system of Amazon has got a high positive response in Bengaluru and now the company is quite excited to launch its 2-hour delivery scheme in other cities of India. Amazon is scheduling to release the hyper-local e-commerce segment in different leading Indian cities soon despite the present challenges of Indian e-commerce challenges.
Highlights of this service:
• This service was formerly known as two-hour grocery delivery service and later was renamed as ‘Amazon Now.’
• A few months back, Amazon India has launched its Amazon Now app using which people can order household items from Amazon.
• It facilitates users a 2-hour delivery system anywhere in Bengaluru.
• By accessing to the app and ordering household essentials between 10 am to 10 pm, a user can get merchandise at their doorstep.
• Moreover, the app also allows users to choose any two-hour pre-programmed delivery time on the app between 10 am and 10 pm.
• This service of Amazon has included more than 70 pins of Bengaluru.
• The app is currently available on Google Play Store, and residents of Bengaluru can download it for ordering any household essentials.
• The app has designed with various payment methods for the users including COD option.
• Amazon by its collaboration with leading retail platforms of India including Big Bazar, Reliance Fresh, Godrej Nature’s Basket, BPCL In & Out, Food World, and Good Food.
• This service of Amazon has covered up thousands of household essentials like beauty products, health and personal care products, specialty foods, grocery, home and kitchen essentials, and baby items.
• By ordering products from Amazon Now app, one can get up to 20% cash back on the billing of Rs. 250 and above.
Following Amazon, other e-commerce rivalries like Flipkart, Grofers, Peppertap, Ola Store, etc. are planning to launch their online grocery app. According to Mr. Srivastava, due to the growing populace in metro cities of India, Amazon is planning to release its next-gen grocery delivery system in metros. However, he didn’t give any clue on the details of the service or release date. But as per the sourced report, the app and service will be soon available in other major cities of India.
