Consumer Reports Says: Water Resistant Capacity is Not Actually Present in Galaxy S7 Active

“Samsung”, the South Korean Tech Giant which always offers high quality products such as Mobile Phones, Smart Phones, Tablets, Laptops, Electrical Products, Electronic Accessories etc. In its range of high quality Smart Phones, Samsung launched a new Smart Phone known as “Samsung Galaxy S7 Active” in the Recent Past.

At Time of launch Samsung Claimed, This Smart Phone is Water resistant and it can survive for 30 minutes under 5 ft deep water easily. Consumer reports says that, Water Resistant Capacity is available only in the Smart Phones available in US. Just after this report, Samsung said that the firm has got these complaints too and they are investigating on the complaints to get the truth out as soon as possible.

The report also suggests that apart from the water resistant capacity the Smart Phone is good on other things such as Display, Battery Life, Camera and other features. But since the claim for water resistant capacity is failed thus Consumer Report set Samsung Galaxy S7 Active as a not recommended Smart Phone at there website. Samsung said the Smart Phone is IP68 standard follower which makes it Dust & Water Resistant.

When the test was taken, The Smart Phone was placed in a water tank at 2.12 pounds per square inch pressure at about 5 ft depth. After around 30 minutes the Phone was taken out and there were Lines on the screen as well as at both cameras there were bubbles. Water reached up to the SIM card slot. When the Smart Phone was started its screen lighten up but phone not worked properly in any manner which shows that Water Resistant Capacity was not present in the Phone.
