Expected Arrival of Fujifilm GFX 50S early 2017 is solution of Hasselblad X1D

Fujifilm is popular company in terms of optics, camera etc and are known for manufacturing digital camera equipped with all latest features at reasonable price. So far the company is yet to try its hands on premium digital camera and announced its venture into manufacturing high end digital camera with Hasselblad’s X1D. The first expected launch by Fujifilm in the medium formal digital cameras is to scheduled to in Early 2017 with the release of GFX 50S which is estimated to be priced at around $10,000 (Rs 6,70,300).

Highlights of the Camera:

• It is expected to sport a 51.4-megapixel medium format sensor that will be compatible with different aspect ratio adjustments.

• The GFX 50S will be powered by the superior X-Processor Pro Imaging Processor that is expected to give superior performance.

• Integration of new ‘G-mount’ system will be seen in the launch with new zoom lens and prime lenses taking the prime focus. The lenses will be also launched alongside the camera in Early 2017.

• The Fujifilm camera is expected to support multiple types of lenses for adjusting the focus, taking crystal clear pictures and also support both auto and manual focus.
Lens Varieties and other features

The main component of a camera is also defined by the lenses and there will be a line of lenses that will be launched along the camera. Initially there are six lenses that are lined up to be launched with the camera which are as follows:-

• GF63mmF2.8 R WR (equivalent to 50mm) standard prime lens

• GF32-64mmF4 R LM WR (equivalent to 25-51mm) wide-angle zoom lens

• GF120mmF4 Macro R LM OIS WR (equivalent to 95mm) mid-telephoto macro lens

• GF110mmF2 R LM WR (equivalent to 87mm)

• GF23mmF4 R LM WR (equivalent to 18mm) ultra-wide lens

• GF45mmF2.8 R WR (equivalent to 35mm) wide angle lens

Conclusion:

The details have not yet been shared but all are expected features and the details of the product are expected to be shared in CEN, 2017. It would sport a detachable EVF that can be exchanged with external monitor and also there is an optional adapter that will help fixing the EVF in a flexible angle. The design and structure of the camera is compact with ergonomic body and is expected to be weather proof and be able to withstand low temperature as low as -10°C.
