Gionee A1 Pre-Orders : Around 75000 Units Booked in Just 10 Days

Gionee has launched its Smartphone “Gionee A1” in February 2017 and the Pre-orders for the Smartphone were started from 31 March. The Smartphone was launched along with the Gionee A1 Plus Smartphone in MWC 2017 and is priced at Rs 19,999 in India. 75000 Pre-Orders in Just 10 Days :

Gionee said that the firm has received around 75000 pre-orders for its new Smartphone Gionee A1 which means the firm has received almost Rs 150 Crores in this Pre-Order scheme. Notable thing is that the Pre-Orders were started from 31 March which means the firm has got these many orders in just 10 Days. Arvind R Vohra (Gionee India Country CEO and MD) said that Pre-Orders have been done via offline mediums and customers registered the Smartphone by paying Rs 2,000 and the Pre-orders from Online Medium are very less than the offline Pre-Orders. The Smartphone will be made available via Online Stores as well as Offline Retail Stores, the firm has already started shipping of the Smartphone for selected cities customers.

Specifications of Gionee A1 Smartphone :

Launched in February 2017, Gionee A1 Smartphone has a 5.50 Inch Display Screen which supports 1080 x 1920 Pixels Resolution. Starting price of the Device is Rs 19,999 in India. Powered by 2 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 Processor, it has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB Internal Storage (expandable up to 256 GB via Micro-SD Card). The Gionee Smartphone has a 13 megapixel Primary Camera (with Dual LED Flash) at Back and a 16 megapixel (Fixed Focus) Secondary Camera at Front. It has 154.50 x 76.50 x 8.30 dimensions and 183 grams weight. The Smartphone runs Android 7.0 based Amigo 4.0 OS and packs a 4010 mAh Non-removable Battery in it.

Other features of the device are Dual SIM Support, Wifi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3G and 4G Network Support, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor and Gyroscope. The Gionee A1 Smartphone will be available in Black, Gold and Grey Colors in India.
