Gionee is an mid budget brand for smartphones and is now all set to launch its latest phones Gionee S9 and Gionee S9T in China in an event to be held on 15th November at 2pm CST. One of the exclusive features of the phones is the rear dual camera setup. Both the smartphones were also seen last week on TENAA which is a Chinese certification website just before the announcement of its launch.
Feature Highlights of Gionee S9
• It has a 2.5D curved glass with full HD display with a screen size of 5.5 inch and comes with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels for better clarity.
• The phone runs on superior 1.8GHz Octa Core processor with internal memory of 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM expandable by up to 128GB.
• It has dual camera set up with 13 megapixel and 5 megapixel camera at rear side and front camera of 13-Megapixel.
• The battery back-up is to be of 3000mAh for superior talktime. The phone is expected to give great connectivity with 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth for instant data share and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Gionee S9T similar to Gionee S9
It is packed with an Octa Core processor of 2GHz which is the major difference between both the phones. However most of the specifications of both the phone are nearly identical but the weight of Gionee S9T is slightly more than that of the other where the former weigh 200.8 grams and later weighs 166.5 grams. Rest the camera specification are to be same with dual camera set up and also the display for the smartphone is similar to Gionee S9.
Conclusion
The Gionee phones are currently being launched only in China and there is so far no information about its launch in any other international market. The phones are now launched in three colours which are silver, black and gold. Most of the information about specifications is already leaked but the prime focus or highlight of the phone is its camera. According to the leaked images of the phone it is seen that the camera panel is to be at the smartphone in vertical shape right in the middle of the backside. Its launch in India cannot be yet ascertained as there are no announcements about the phone. With the camera development there is lot of eyeballs rolling towards the phone.
