Gionee’s new ambitious announcement in selfie centered Smartphones of India!

Hours ago Gionee the Chinese Mobile Manufacturer sent press event invitations to all the leading media houses with the hashtag of #SelfieWithFlash, which is clearly hinting that Gionee now intends to launch a new set of Smartphones in India very soon.

The one of the very famous and instantly rose to fame brands, Gionee is expected to release a Smartphone series which would be centered around the selfie feature in its S series line of Smartphones.

Highlights:-

1, the Smartphone is expected support a flash system for the front selfie camera as well!

2, the announcement is a marketing strategy for the competitions and thus may provide great value for money launches and promises!

This past month other Chinese cell phone manufacturers like Coolpad and Oppo launched their own selfie focused Smartphones series in Indian market and it seems that Gionee is trying to chase the same route.

And to recap the market status of Gionee’s competitors, Oppo launched its Oppo F1s for 17,999 INR and Coolpad launched its Coolpad Mega 2.5D for as much low as 6,999 INR.

In the recent times, the big mobile manufacturer Gionee has not launched any new selfie based Smartphone devices of its own and seeing that, it seems the right time for the company to make its move.

Gionee however launched two of its latest models last month in Beijing, the Gionee M6 and M6 Plus Smartphones, which do not have any particular selfie focused vibe on them but they do come with many beautification features for selfies plus massive battery capacities and data encryption.

These new devices Gionee M6 was priced for CNY 2,699 (around 27,200 INR) for the 64 GB storage set and at CNY 2,899 (roughly around 29,200 INR) for the 128 GB storage set.

While the Gionee M6 Plus (64 GB) was priced at CNY 2,999 (around 30,200 INR) and Gionee M6 Plus (128 GB) was priced for CNY 3,199 (roughly 32,200 INR).

These models were displayed at Mocha gold and champagne gold colors and were found to be running Android Marshmallow based, Amigo 3.5 OS.

The device featured 5.5 inch full HD display screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, running its units on a 64 bit 1.8 GHz Media Tek Helio P10 Octa Core Processor with 4 GB RAM and a 13 MP rear Camera plus 8 MP front one and a huge 5000mAH Battery!

Gionee M6 Plus comes with a 6 inch Display size with 16 MP rear and 8 MP front, cameras, with dual LED flash and the battery was a massive 6020 mAH!
The new Indian release is very well anticipated to be based around these recently launched variants of the company and thus the market seemed to be abuzz with this new invitation!
