Google announced launch of Google Home, Daydream View, Chromecast Ultra and many more in #MadebyGoogle Event

In the very recent #MadebyGoogle event Google unveiled many of the products from its newly formed hardware division headed by former Motorola Mobility President Rick Osterloh. It is not only Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL smartphones and taking the advantage of the occasion it also announced Home Smart Speak, Google Wi-Fi, Chromecast Ultra, Daydream VR Headset and other related products along with few features and price.

Google Home Smart Speaker

It is great venture and initiative by Google to reach on the higher edge in the entire digital market and will be a tough competition for other major players. The new product is announced with a motive to make work easy and reduce use of touchscreen and keyboards to control any device and Amazon’s Alexa and Apple’s Siri is up for tough competition.  It is voice based virtual assistant and help the user to manage tasks, control device, open apps etc with voice commands. The Google Home speakers are activated by “OK Google” hotword as confirmed by the company and is compatible with many other brands. It also comes with a mic mute button that enables to maintain their privacy.

It features three speaker set-up along with a dual passive radiator that calls for clear high and deep lows with sound clarity. It is compatible with Chromecast Audio and Cast-enabled speakers and can be used for multiple rooms. The base is available in many colour variants while top portion remains same with control tabs. It is small and easily portable.

Google WiFi

It is a smart router integrated with mesh Wi-Fi technology that enables distribution of small routers to several small routers in a home to make the connectivity strong and is meant for large homes. It has a LED light that shows network status, come with Ethernet port and Type-C port. It is in sync with dual band 5 GHz WI-Fi and uses intelligent switch from one router to another through Network Assistant technology. It supports many OS, allows parental controls etc.

Chromecast Ultra & Daydream View

The exclusive part of the product is its support for 4K video streaming along with HDR and Dolby Vision. The Chromecast Dongles is getting great Wi-Fi changes with video download speed 1.8 times faster and also will support Google Home smart speaker hub enabling user to voice control their TV.

Daydream View is the exclusive headset and controller and is made attractive in features and outlook. It provides excellent comfort, washable and the headset can be used easily by simply inserting into smartphones. The alignment is custom made and the product is currently available in Slate, Snow and Crimson colours. The daydream view controller can be also connected using bluetooth.

Conclusion

MadebyGoogle event saw announcement of many products with Google Wi-Fi router priced at $129(approx Rs 8,600) with pre-orders starting from November. 3-pack router is to cost $299( Approx Rs 19,990) and Chromecast Ultra at $69(approx Rs 4,600). The daydream view headset is also set to be launched in Canada, Australia, UK and Germany after US.
