Google Says: 13.3 Percent of Active Android Devices are Running on Android Marshmallow

Now days a large number of Smart Devices are running on Android OS. There are many versions so Android OS which are upgradable too thus user always thinks for the latest version enabled device as it will allows them to have quality experience with the device. This latest OS need as well as up gradation has made the number of devices on previous Android Based devices lower and increased the number of devices which are running on Latest Android Marshmallow OS. This fact is confirmed by the latest report from Google.

As per the report from Google Play Distribution Data which was a seven day investigation, the number of devices which runs on Android Marshmallow based OS has grown up to 13.3 percent now. The report suggests that it is a steady kind of rise in the number of Android Mashmallow based devices. Where Marshmallow Devices Number is increasing the number of Android Lollipop and Android KitKat Based Devices is dropping slowly. According to earlier reports the latest Marshmallow version was running on 10.1% devices till last month and till May it was running over 7.5% devices. This earlier report along with the latest report shows that the growth of 3.2% is reached in a month only.

Number of Active Devices Running on Various Android Versions :

The latest data which shown in this report shows that Android Marshmallow based devices are 13.3% (3.2% more than last month), Android Lollipop Based Devices are 35.1% (Android 5.0 on 14.3% & Android 5.1 on 20.8%) which was 35.4% in earlier May, Android KitKat based devices are 30.1% which was 31.6% last month, Android Jelly based devices are 17.8% which was 18.9% in June, Android Ice Cream Sandwich based devices are 1.7% which is 0.2% lower from last month, Android Gingerbread based devices are  1.9% and Android 2.2 Froyo based devices are 0.1% (Not Changed from Last Month).

Devices Which are now Running on Android Marshmallow OS :

Devices from Google in its Nexus Series, Motorola Devices, Asus Devices, HTC Devices, Sony Xperia Devices, Samsung Devices, LG Devices, Huawei Devices, Lenovo Devices etc are now running on Android Marshmallow OS.

All these earlier as well as the latest reports in combination show that Number of all other Android Version Based Devices decreased but the Number of Android Marshmallow Based Devices is increased in recent days.
