Honor 6X to be launched on 24th January, made available only via Amazon India

Honor has finally confirmed that Honor 6X will be launched in India on 24th January and will be available for purchase only via Amazon India. Last week Honor did send invites for the launch event to be held on 24th January but did not confirm the name but the name was clarified by Amazon. It was lately confirmed by Amazon that the phone will be sold via them. As of now the launch price of the phone for India has not been confirmed.

Feature Highlights of the phone

• The phone is powered by the superior 4 cores clocked at 2.1GHz & 4 cores clocked at 1.7GHz Kirin 655 Octa Core processor. The phone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

• The Huawei phone sports a full HD display with IPS of screen size 5.5 inch and has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels for better clarity. The phone is protected by 2.5D curved glass protection.

• The phone is available in three variants in terms of memory and storage which are 3GB/32GB ROM, 4GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB/64GB ROM. The storage however can be expanded by up to 128GB in microSD card.

• The phone has dual camera set-up that includes one with 12-megapixel sensor along with PDAF and also has a 2-megapixel sensor. The phone also has a front camera of 8-megapixel.

Other features and connectivity

The phone supports dual SIM slot where the secondary slot can be used as SIM slot or as slot for microSD card. It has great connectivity with 4G VoLTE support for blazing fast internet connection, bluetooth for data transfer, supports Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS etc. The phone also has a battery with capacity of 3340mAh supports fast charging. The phone has fingerprint sensor that enables the user to unlock the phone in 0.3 seconds.

Conclusion

The phone will be launched in India on 24th January and will be sold via Amazon and it was confirmed by the e-commerce giant. The phone was first launched in China last year in the month of October and was launched at price of CNY 999 (approx Rs 9,900). It was launched in five colour variants of Silver, Blue, Rose Gold, Gold and Grey in China. The launch price of the phone in India will be revealed only on date of launch.
