HTC launched the much awaited HTC Bolt with no headphone jack, Android 7.0 Nougat Powered

It was a long time rumoured that surfaced regarding the headphone jack less phones by HTC and finally in collaboration with sprint launched the much awaited HTC Bolt. The phone is launched in US and from Friday onwards in available for purchase on Sprint’s online stores as well as online stores of HTC across US. HTC is promoting the phone with help of Sprint who claim it to be fastest ever smartphone which supports 3×20 MHz carrier aggregation using the Qualcomm Snapdragon x10 LTE Modem. The most striking feature of the phone is it ditched the headphone jack but instead has USB Type C enabled headphone with the back. With the HTC BoomSound Support it has incredible sound system.

Feature Highlight of phone

• It is integrated with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat for smooth application performance and runs on octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for superior performance.

• It has a QHD display screen of 5.5 inch with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels for enhanced clarity and with IP57 rating is splash and dust resistance. But HTC recommends not to intentionally submerge the phone in water.

• It has an internal memory of 3GB RAM along with 32GB ROM which can be expanded further to a massive amount to 2TB in microSD card.

• It has a rear camera of 16-megapixel that supports OIS(Optical Image Stabilisation), PDAF, 4K video recording etc and backed by a front camera of 8-megapixel.

Other features in the phone

Connectivity undoubtedly is great for this phone with blazing fast speed and is backed by a battery support of 3200mAh integrated with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 for rapid charging. HTC America President Andre Lonne said – “For HTC Bolt, we took everything that was so great about the HTC 10 and made it even better. And, of course, we took the wireless speed and supercharged it with Sprint, turning HTC Bolt into a smartphone unlike any you’ve ever experienced,”. It clearly indicates the advanced technology the phone is driven with. With Nougat OS there are many features like split screen view, Google Duo video calling app, unlimited storage of photos in Google Photos app.

Conclusion

The HTC phone is very finely designed with unibody made of aluminium and it has the fingerprint scanner below the display that is expected to open the phone is just 0.2 seconds. The phone started its sale in US from Friday onwards. It can be purchased with $25 per month for two years summing to $600 (Rs 40,250). As of now there is no announcement of its launch in any other international markets.
