Huawei to launch P10 and Watch 2 during MWC 2017

Huawei has confirmed the launch of P10 and Watch 2 during MWC 2017 at the event to be held on 26th February. Last month Huawei sent out invites for the event and it was expected that the company would launch an upgrade for its Huawei P9 that was launched last year. However, now Huawei has released image and video for an upcoming event which confirmed that Huawei P10 will be launched during MWC 2017. Also it was confirmed by Richard Yu to Weibo that during MWC 2017, Huawei Watch 2 will be also unveiled.
Teaser and specifications for Huawei P10
There are many teasers launched for the upcoming P10 by Huawei and the company has released the teasers on its social media pages announcing the arrival of P10 smartphones at MWC 2017. A teaser has been released about the phone with a tag line stating – “Change the way the world sees you” As per the teaser, the phone is expected to be launched with dual camera set-up with Gold, Green and Blue colour variants.
Expected feature specifications of P10
The Huawei phone may sport a QHD display resolution with a size of 5.2 inch that brings about high end clarity. The phone is powered by Kirin 960 Octa-Core processor along with Mali G71 Octa-Core GPU graphics. The phone is packed with inbuilt memory of two variants which are 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM which can perhaps be further expanded. The phone comes with dual camera sensors of 20-megapixel and 12-megapixel along with a front camera of 8-megapixel. The phone is expected to sport dual curved screen. It supports a battery of 3100mAh that enables wireless charging support as well. The phone has a fingerprint sensor packed on the home button of the phone.
Conclusion
There are leaks by some Spanish retail site that states that Huawei P10 Plus is expected to be launched as well but not sure if it will be unveiled during MWC 2017. The major difference from P10 is it will have a bigger screen with 8GB RAM and the phone was listed on the Spanish retail site at EUR 799 (around Rs 56,800) but it is better to not believe in everything said sternly. It was confirmed by Richard Yu to Chinese site Weibo that Huawei Watch 2 will also be unveiled during MWC 2017. Huawei was supposed to launch its smart watch last year but delayed waiting for Android Wear 2.0. But, now Huawei is all set to launch the smart watch during MWC 2017 and according to rumours it may see an in-built SIM card slot.
