Huawei is now Developing Its Own Mobile OS to Reduce Reliance on Android

“Huawei”, the prominent tech giant from China which deals in Mobile and Electronics Market has recently launched Huawei VR headset in competition with Samsung’s Gear VR and after this there is news that now Huawei is going to Develop its own OS so that it will not depend on Android while making new handsets. There are companies such as Samsung and OnePlus which has developed their Tizen and Oxygen OS, if Huawei develops its own OS then it will join the tech giants in this category.

The thing which gives wind to this new report of OS developing, is that in recent days Huawei has hired a former Apple Creative Director Abigail Brody as company’s Chief Designer in User Experience Division. There are also reports that Huawei is secretly developing its OS, with the help of former Nokia Persons along with Mr Abigail Brody and the project has started. If Huawei develops the OS then the biggest issue (Software Issue) will be resolved and this will give an amazing boost to this company.

After suing Samsung on the matter of patent infringement at use of cellular technology with out any licensed and VR Technology launch it is one more step of Huawei which suggests that the firm is targeting Samsung on every level. Huawei reported that this project is a “contingency measure”, which runs EMUI based on Android the devices. The hiring of Abigail Brody also suggests that the Huawei OS may be look a bit of like iOS.

In recent days Huawei has reach the level of Samsung, Nokia and Apple in terms of mobile manufacture and mobile products and this step from Huawei will make it more powerful name in mobile industry. There are reports that Abigail Brody will meet the OS developing team of Huwaei in August. Till now Abigail Brody has not spoken much about the hiring or the OS.

The statement from Brody was “The new OS will have New Emotion UI with qualities of Android and iOS along with the new features of the new OS. The changes in Emotion UI will be such as new type icons, amazing range of high class colors, app drawer and many more new added features. There are also news that this UI may look as Nexus Smart Phone’s UI. Just like Amazon’s Android Based Fire OS for its tablet, this decision from Huawei is very intelligent, if its get success.
