Apple has blessed its subscribers with iOS update for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch devices this Friday. A patch that fixes up the bugs is the primary function of the iOS 10.0.2 update that deals with the reported lightening headphones bug which was stopping the playback feature temporarily.
It is also been reported that the iOS 10.0.2 update is also bringing in some quick fixes for a few other reported bugs, namely the photo glitch that made some users to quit photos section automatically when interacting with iCloud Photo Library and another fix for the glitch that made app extensions problematic. But of course the biggest need to develop the new iOS patch was to get rid of the earphone bug!
The issues regarding with the bugs were reported by many iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users in the early part of this month, the glitch affected the bundle earsets and even the separately bought earsets that were connected through the 3.5 mm Jack receiver.
The issue stated that the display of the device went off for about 4 to 5 minutes and while that time nothing played back. After a few moments things would come back to normal but the adjustment of volume would stop working properly, Siri will not respond or replying to calls using the in line controls.
It is to be noted that the bug was happening at irregular timings meaning it was not persistent. The temporary fix was to remove and attach again the headsets into the device.
Apple heard about the complaints last week and told its customers to come up with a fix patch through an update very soon.
iPhone users who need the patch can install it directly from their sets or through the iTunes, it is highly recommended to backup your data before adding the patch!
To download directly which is most preferred way to download such patches is by going to Settings> Software Update> tap Download> Install. When you are done, tap install again and confirm to agree with Apple’s terms and conditions. The iOS set will restart and the new patch will be working fine.
Although you can also download from iTunes, which we assume you guys already know if you know about these bugs already so well, lets just take deep breaths here that Apple still has not got full rogue to dominate third world countries in an attempt to take over the world….yet!
And still is acknowledging us mere mortals, so that is the biggest good news out of this, cheers!
