There is great news for PlayStation lovers because finally the launch dates for the much awaited PS4 Pro, PS4 Slim and PlayStation VR has been confirmed. The dates for launch have been delayed multiple times before in India. Along with the launch the price for the products are also confirmed ahead of the launch. PS4 Pro is to be launched at a price of Rs 38,990 from mid of February. As far as PlayStation VR is concerned, it will be available from first week of March at Rs 41,990 and PS4 Slim will be in two variants with 500 GB at Rs 27,990 and 1TB at Rs 32,990 from mid of February.

Talking about PS4 Pro, it is an upgraded version of PS4 compatible with 4K and enhanced VR. The product enables better frame rate and performance for multiple games. There have been lot of feature upgrade in case of PS4 Pro along with frame rate and calls for a dynamic gaming experience. The PS VR is an attempt to enter the VR market and the launch would include headset, demo disc and PS4 Camera at Rs 41,990. It can also be purchased without the camera for Rs 37,990. The product was first checked in IGX 2016 and results were only satisfactory. The last in the kitty is PS4 Slim that comes with a new variant with Dual Shock 4 Controller and is not a great catch for people seeking comfort with audiophile.

Delay and reasons for no fixed dates

Although it is confirmed that the products will be launched during March and April but as of now, fixed dates have not been given yet. The main reason for not announcing the exact dates for availability or launch is due to logistics problem. This is the reason why Sony has announced tentative months for launch. The delay of launch in India was due to lack of BIS certifications and it has been a constant problem during previous launches as well.
