Leica launched M10 with ISO Dial, Full frame CMOS sensor of 24-megapixel on 19th January, 2017

Leica is a German camera manufacturer and recently launched M10 which is another addition to the M-Series. The camera is stylishly designed, equipped with compact structure and will set a benchmark to the existing camera of M-series. The Leica camera M10 is available for purchase from 19th January onwards at a price of $6,495 (around Rs 4,42,500) but it will be available in market in limited quantity.

Features of the camera

• The camera is equipped with 24-megapixel full frame CMOS sensor that gives clear resolution, sharpness, contrast etc. An infrared cut off filter is attached to the cover of the camera that cuts of any unwanted light refraction.

• The ISO Sensitivity of the camera is in range of ISO 100 and 50,000 which gives better sharpness and sensitivity. The camera gives sharp images with help of low pass filter.

• It has accurate and great pathfinder with the magnification factor increased to 0.73 and enlargement increased by 30%. The viewfinder can be used even from a greater distance and the proximity percentage has increased.

• It is equipped with Maestro II image processor in combination with 24-megapixel sensor. The sharpness can be configured appropriately using the loupe function. The camera also has Visoflex Electronic viewfinder (EVF) with resolution of 2.4 megapixel.

Other features of the camera

The camera is compact and ergonomically designed making it more attractive and better than its predecessor. It comes with integrated GPS in its viewfinder. The camera also includes 2GB buffer memory and enables shooting five frame/ second using the burst mode. It enables smooth operation using the panel of operating buttons. It has a button for play, menu and live view along with a joystick for controlling. It is compatible with Wi-Fi connectivity allowing easy sharing of data. There are controls for shutter speed, focus, aperture etc. Using the Wi-Fi the photos can be edited and shared on social media.
