Lenovo lately launched its awaited Yoga A12 convertible tablet which is powered by Android and has Halo keyboard. The tablet is launched at a price of $299 (around Rs 20,000) and will be available via the company’s online store. The tablet will be made available for sale from Wednesday onwards. The tablet have its major highlight as the Halo keyboard which has inbuilt prediction and ability to learn typing.
Feature Highlights of the tablet
• The tablet runs on the superior Intel Atom x5 processor with improved performance and is powered by Android OS.
• It is packed with inbuilt memory of 2GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB ROM that enables storage of decent amount of data.
• The tablet flaunts HD display screen with size of 12.2 inch along with a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
• The Lenovo tablet is packed with double Dolby Atmos speakers and runs with hybrid UI that comes with preloaded Google productivity.
Design and other highlights
The tablet is a cheaper version of Yoga series and the Halo keyboard is one of the major highlights of the tablet. The keyboard sport touch screen buttons and comes with in-built prediction along with software that enables artificial learning. As claimed by Lenovo the keyboard is designed in a way that it is able to learn users typing habits and adapt it soon. It Yoga tablet is able to turn 360 degree with help hinge and supports four modes. The company also claims that the tablet gives battery life up to 13 hours and last with one charge.

In a press statement Lenovo said – “We found a segment of users who grew up with Android as their first-ever computing experience-either on their family tablet or a personal smart phone. For these users, Android and productivity weren’t mutually exclusive-the smart phone or tablet experience can be seamlessly extended to the personal computer. That’s why we created the Yoga A12.” The tablet sports magnesium and aluminium, currently available Rose Gold and Gunmetal Grey colours. The Lenovo Yoga tablet is made for providing maximum performance and is within budget as compared to the Yoga Book 2-in-1.
