LYF is Reliance’s Digital wing and has launched many phones at pocket friendly price which are feature rich. It has been nearly three months since it launched LYF Wind 7 and now the company has launched its upgraded version with launch of LYF Wind 7i. Most of the specifications are similar to LYF Wind 7 but there are few important changes that have been made in the newly launched phone.
Feature Highlights of the phone
• It is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow for smooth running of all application and runs on 1.3GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 210 process with Adreno 304 GPU.
• It has a HD display screen of 5 inch with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and the glass is protected by AGC glass.
• It has an internet memory of 1GB RAM along with 8GB ROM that is expandable by up to 128GB in microSD card.
• It comes with a rear camera of 8 megapixels with autofocus, LED flash, 720 p video recording along with a front camera of 5 megapixels. There are many camera features which include gaze detection, red eye removal, blink detection, auto-focus etc.
Other features and connectivity
The Lyf phone has great connectivity feature with 4G VoLTE support for efficient connectivity, it has microUSB port, bluetooth for data transfer, GPS support, compatible with Wi-Fi and also comes with dual SIM support. It is backed by a battery capacity of 2250 mAh which the company claims to give a talktime of 9 hours on 4G and 180 hours of standby time. It has multiple sensors which includes one like proximity, accelerometer, light etc. In order to access apps quickly the phone comes with gesture control that enables the user to open camera with down slide, choose message by sliding right, switch on display by double tap etc.On making a comparison with LYF Wind 7 it has upgraded features and at very budget price.
Conclusion
The phone has great outlook with metallic body clubbed with back cover with no texture that only has LYF logo with the grille for the speaker. On the left side of the phone it has the button for volume along with the power or sleep buttons. It is a budget phone with all features required by a smartphone launched at Rs 4,999 in black and blue colour.
