The Much awaited LeEco Super3 X55 LED TV Goes on Flash Sale Today

Business is about to pick up in the Indian SmartTV market. Chinese juggernaut LeEco’s Super3 X55 TV is in flash sale mode today.

LeEco had introduced the Super3 SmartTV series in India last month and with it came the first real challenge to high-end SmartTV brands in India. The company had launched 3 TVs in this line-up. The first being a 55 inch model and the other 2 being 65 inch models, namely the LeEco Super3 X65 LED TV and the LeEco Super3 Max65 LED TV. Today is the flash sale for 55 inch Ultra HD (4K) Smart LED TV.

The LeEco Super3 X55 LED TV is a 55 inch beast with a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. This is an UHD 4K Android TV unlike any that the market has seen before. The TV comes with the MACE-PRO4 picture engine and ELED backlight technology. The viewing angle on the device is a very comforting 178°.

Other than this the Super3 X55 SmartTV has pretty good connectivity specs. The TV has 2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0 ports. There are 3 HDMI ports. There is also Ethernet (RJ 45) connectivity option. The TV also has built-in Wi-Fi, built-in BlueTooth 4.0, and SD card slot.

The Super3 X55 boasts of a 1.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A17 Quad core MSD6A928 processor, which is a 32-bit Smart TV chipset alongside the Quad-core Mali-T760 MP4 GPU. The TV comes with a 2GB DDR3 RAM and 8GB eMMC5.0 Flash Memory.

The flash sale of this TV will help LeEco build up more momentum for future flash sales for its other 2 Super3 TVs, which are actually bigger and better than this one. But the affects of the Super3 TVs’ entry in the Indian market are already evident. Reports suggest that India’s most famous TV brand Videocon has decided to slash the prices of its 55 inch TV to compete with LeEco’s offering. However, at the time of this writing, it is not clear whether Videocon has done so with a SmartTV offering.

The best part about the LeEco Super3 X55 TV and its bigger cousins is that they are only the first generation of LeEco’s SmartTVs in India and they have been able to create ample buzz in the industry to get everyone’s attention. For those not aware, LeEco already has a Super4 TV line-up waiting in the wings.

The Super4 TV series has already been launched in LeEco’s home country and it would not be far-fetched to suggest that by the time the Indian market warms up to SmartTVs, LeEco will be ready to introduce its next SmartTV line-up. It is, therefore, not unreasonable to suggest that this company is a true juggernaut in the consumer electronics industry.
