New Android 7.0 Nougat will heavily grace the Sony Xperia Smartphones!

For the past few times Google has been dropping in the hints about the ultimate built setting for the new Android 7.0 Nougat for its own compatible Nexus handsets.

And soon when after confirming that the newly releasing LG V20 is going to be the first new Smartphone to run on the new Android 7.0, the tech mogul without much waste of the time released a list wherein the names of all those Smartphone devices which shall be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Notable things:

1. Sony Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra shall be receiving the updates.
2. Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and the Xperia Z5 Premium are also chosen to be given the updates.
3. There is a related event for from Sony on September 1!

It has been totally confirmed that the Sony’s Xperia series, to be more precise, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia Z4 Tablet, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra and Xperia X performance are the ones that have been selected!

Although no official time frame has been provided by the technological company.

What this is supposed to mean is that the Smartphones that were released this year and last year as well are going to get the updates, as Sony has stopped it support for software for every Smartphone that were released around 2014.

It is very curious to be noted that in these two years of time frame from which these Xperia devices are taken in for the consideration of updates have left out many other devices like Sony Xperia E5 which was launched May THIS year, and apart from this the Sony Xperia Z4v and Sony Xperia Z4 shall also be left out!

This year it is worthy to be noted that Sony launched its Sony Xperia X and Sony Xperia XA and also Sony Xperia XA Ultra in Indian market and tagged a price tag of INR 48,990/- , 20,990/- and 29,990/- respectively. All these releasing devices shall be receiving the Android Nougat 7.0 updates.

To bring in the news from the recent past, Sony plans to host an event at IFA on 1st September to unveil the new device Xperia XR Smartphone.

And as we have tried to guess from some past leaks of news nougats of our own, Sony Xperia XR shall feature a 5.1” display and shall be powered by the Snapdragon processor.

With Sony Xperia XR Sony is believed to be making jump to the USB type-C ports, different from the Micro-USB ports which Sony had been using till now.

The Smartphone is expected to have a 4K recording system with its Front and Back Cameras!
