Nokia 6 now available in India but only via third party online retailer

Nokia 6 is the comeback phone for the company and the rights for the phone is owned by HMD Global. As of now the phone is launched exclusively only in China but now it is also available in India. There is however nothing great about it as it is available via third party online retailer at a very high cost. But, officially the phone is available only in China and HMD Global has not yet officially announced its availability in India so far.
Feature specifications of the phone
• The phone is powered by the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS and runs on the superior 1.1GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor that gives high end performance.
• The phone flaunts of full HD display screen with screen size of 5.5 inch along with screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels that brings better clarity. The phone has 2.5D curved display along with protection by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
• The phone is packed with internal memory of 4GB RAM along with an internal storage of 64GB ROM that can be expanded by up to 128GB in microSD card.
• It has a rear camera of 16-megapixel along with features like LED flash, PDAF etc and a front camera of 8-megapixel.
Connectivity and other features
The Nokia phone has great connectivity features including support for 4G that enables blazing fast internet connection, Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, GPS etc. It has a battery with capacity of 3000mAh that the company claims to give longer usage. The phone supports fingerprint scanner on the home button. It also comes with Dolby Atmos for great sound effect and supports dual SIM. Due to its outstanding features it was a major hit in China. It was made available in China twice where it went out of stock during the first sale and in the second sale it saw 1.4 million registrations. The instant and tremendous sale of the phone was mistaken by lot as flash sale.
Conclusion
HMD Global has launched the phone only in China last month at CNY 1,699 (around Rs 17,000) and was announced as China exclusive product. It was claimed that the phone was also available in Phillippines through HMD Global but the company denied its availability outside China. The phone is now listed on eBay India as spotted by Gizbot but at very high price. During MWC 2017, HMD Global is set to unveil other Android powered Nokia phones to be launched outside China.
