Nokia powered by Android phone expected to sport 2K Display, include Zeiss Lens

It is not been long that understanding the power of Android, Nokia started using Android OS in its new phones. With this Nokia is all set to unveil its Nokia Android phone at MWC 2017 organised at Barcelona. There is lot of speculation about the new phone and lot of rumours regarding its specification doing the rounds of internet. The phone or handset is expected to be of high end category as it is expected to sport a 2K (QHD) display.

Feature Highlights of the phone

• The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC but the processor may be slightly outdated on comparing the updated processor like Qualcomm Snapdragon 821.

• The upcoming Nokia phone is expected to be equipped with Zeiss Lens for the rear or primary to ensure clear and brighter pictures.

• As per rumours the Nokia Android model is expected to be equipped with 2K (QHD) display with a screen size of 5.2 inch to 5.5 inch.

Nokia and its grand comeback

It is true that the Finland based smartphone company which was once the major smartphone manufacturers could not keep up with competitors like Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi etc. The grand comeback of the company into the smartphone sector was confirmed when it announced its participation in the MWC 2017. Last year Nokia gave HMD Global the license to manufacture smartphones and tablets under Nokia brand name for coming 10 years. After this under the license to HMD Global, the Nokia Android phone will be the first smartphone to be manufactured after Nokia N1 tablet. The phone is expected to have waterproof features and would sport an exquisite metal unibody.

The tipster did not provide any image about the phone but there are rumours that it will flaunt of a metal body. Nokia is yet to say anything about the launch of the phone. It was confirmed by Nokia that Nokia CEO Rajiv Suri will be speaking in MWC 2017 and as per rumours the phone will also be launched during the event. MWC 2017 starts from 27th February in Barcelona and as the event comes closer we can expect more information of the phone and its expected launch.
