OnePlus 3T specifications and others rumours out with release date

OnePlus is no doubt one of the most promising brands for smart phones and is currently rumoured to be working on an upgraded variant of OnePlus 3 which was launched in June. There was lot of speculation about the rumoured phone and is expected to be names OnePlus 3T but yet dates are not officially confirmed of its release. The new variant of the phone is expected to be powered by superior Snapdragon 821 SoC. It is no secret that OnePlus 3 has amazing features with incredible camera and with OnePlus 3T there is more upscale of the features.

Expected information on release

Although there is no official confirmation about release of the new variant but as per rumours it is supposed to happen in December of this year. There are lot of names of the variants that are doing the rounds of rumours and it was informed by an employee that the upgraded variant might be named OnePlus 3T. According to rumours variant names like OnePlus 3S and OnePlus 3 Plus are also doing rounds. There is a leak about the variant which is expected to be launched on 14th November.

Phone Specifications

The OnePlus phone is an upgraded variant of OnePlus 3 and there will be thus only few changes. It is rumoured to be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor which is highly superior and also gives a run to Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL. It is to run on latest by Google Android 7.0 Nougat OxygenOS. As confirmed by OnePlus CEO Carl Pei all the phones will use same display and thus without change the new variant is expected to sport Optic Amoled Display like the present phones. It is expected to sport 6GB RAM along with 64GB ROM and 128GB ROM in-built memory. It may have rear camera of 16-megapixel with SonyIMX398 sensor. It is expected to have a larger battery of 3300mAh with integration of dash charge.

Conclusion

As it is a variant we cannot expect much upgrades but as of new there is no official announcement of the release. The specifications are yet to be officially given thumbs up so far. According to some leaks the price of the new variant is expected to be around $480 (around Rs 32,100) which will be roughly $80 more than OnePlus 3 (Rs 27,999 currently in India). We can only wait for Christmas for the phone to possibly launch.
