Panasonic launched its latest Panasonic P71 in India at Rs 7,490

Panasonic is one of the most pocket friendly smartphones in our country and has many features in affordable price. It was only last month that it launched Eluga Tapplast and now launched its latest Panasonic P71 which is now available across retail outlets in the country. It is a user friendly and feature rich smartphone which falls within our budget. The one after another launch of smartphones by Panasonic is a clear indication of its expansion plans in India.

Features of the phone

• It is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow for smooth function and operation of all the applications and runs on the 1.25 GHz Quad core processor for high end performance.

• There are two variants in terms of memory with 1GB/2GB RAM which is further coupled by memory of 16GB ROM which can be further expanded by 32GB in microSD card.

• It sports a display screen of 5-inch in HD with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and has a IPS display for clear picture quality.

• It sports a rear camera of 8-megapixel with LED Flash along with a front camera of 2-megapixel for taking selfies and video chats.

Connectivity and others

The Panasonic phone has great connectivity features based on the price it is launched at and supports 4G with voice over LTE. The 4G support blazing fast internet speed and along with that it also has other connectivity features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for fast internet access, support bluetooth 4.0 for instant data transfer, GPS support and also have a audio jack of 3.5 mm. It is backed by battery support of 2000mAh with optimum power management which ensures great talktime and longer usage.

Conclusion

It is light in weight and weighs only 138gms and also supports dual SIM slots. It has two variants based on its internal memory with the 1GB RAM variant priced at Rs 7,490 and the 2GB RAM variant priced at Rs 8,190. Both the smartphone variants otherwise similar in terms of looks and rest of the features and are available in Ivory Gold and Dim Grey Black colour options. Last smartphone launched by Panasonic in the P series was Panasonic P77 is September at Rs 6,990 and with this launch there was a significant change in memory with leap of 8GB ROM as P77 had only 8GB ROM but P71 has 16GB ROM inbuilt memory.
