Following the footstep of Microsoft giving its Xbox One S an HDR support, Sony is reported to roll out the HDR support for its PS4 via a firmware update. During the PlayStation Meeting at New York, Sony has announced about bringing new HDR feature for its Play Station 4 with an update which will be rolling out from next week.
At the Play Station Meeting, Andrew House of Sony declared that Sony brings up the support of High Dynamic Range or HDR to its PS4 and PS4 Slim which will allow users to experience more precise and vivid colors and contrast. Still now, a number of Smart TVs under 4K do not support HDR feature, and this innovative step of Sony is sure to add a new dimension to its successful Play Station series.
