Sale of LG V20 starts this week with US pre-orders pipelined for October 17th

In an event on 7th September LG unveiled its flagship smartphone to be run on Android 7.0 Nougat LG V20 that features exclusive dual screen feature along with dual camera. There was no official announcement after specifications or date of launch before but now LG has confirmed its sale starting from this week. LG is a Korean brand and the phone is to debut from its home country itself that is to follow its sale in other countries like North America, Latin America and Middle East. The specifications and price are yet to be released in completion based on regional launch.
Feature Highlights of phone:
• The LG phone is to be run by two cores clocked at 2.15GHz and 1.6GHz and packed with Quad Core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor for superior performance.
• It is no secret that it is powered by the latest Android 7.0 Nougat that would excel the performance.
• It is to sport a dual rear camera that includes 135 degree 8-megapixel lens with 16-megapixel 75-degree lens. Along with that it has a 120-degree 5-megapixel selfie clicker.
• It is to sport IPS Quantum display screen of 5.7 Inch along with a secondary display screen with larger font size than the one present in LG V10.
Other features and Connectivity:
The connectivity is yet to be disclosed appropriately but it sure is going to support 4G internet speed and would have many other convenience features. It is to be equipped with features like 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC, B&0 Play Speakers and HD Audio Recorder. The phone also features a Type C port USB connection for easy connectivity. The phone is to be supported by a 3200mAh battery for longer usage. It is to be launched in two variants of internal memory of 32GB and 64GB ROM and expandable to microSD card of 256GB.
Conclusion:
The phone is soon to be launched in India as well but the dates are yet to be fixed as confirmed by Kim Ki-Wan, MD of LG India as confirmed to Gadgets 360. The phone will be available in Titan, Pink and Silver variants. The pre-orders for the phones in US will be starting from October 17th and the unlocked version has already been listed on US e-commerce site B&H. LGV20 is expected to be priced at $804(approximately Rs 53,000) in South Korea at first launch according to Korea Times.
