Samsung has finally unveiled the much awaited Samsung Galaxy A9, the fourth smartphone from its Galaxy A-series range in China. Samsung had previously launched the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) mobiles. Galaxy A9 has probably been the most widely awaited product from the Galaxy A-series range of phones.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 sports a 6 inch full HD super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass. The phone comes packed with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and an Adreno 510 GPU. The Galaxy A9 is powered by a 3 GB RAM and has a 32 GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. The phone also sports a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. The rear camera boasts of auto-focus, LED flash, OIS (optical image stabilization) technology and a lens of  f/1.9 aperture.

As is the case with other smartphones from the Galaxy A-series range, the Galaxy A9 also boasts of a top-notch battery unit. The phone has a 4000 mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 2.0.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 will be a direct competitor to the likes of Gionee Elife E8 and LG G4. In terms of specs the Samsung Galaxy A9 will certainly have an edge on its competitors when it comes to battery performance.
