Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro with Smart Glow Technology Now Available in India

Samsung is currently busy unveiling a number of budget phones and Tablets. The consumer electronics giant has now launched a new budget phone called the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro comes with a 5 inch Super AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The phone is powered by a 1.5 GHz Quad Core Spreadtrum SC8830 processor alongside a Mali-400MP2 GPU. The phone has a 2 GB RAM to boot.

The internal storage on the J2 Pro is 16 GB. This storage can be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card slot. The primary camera on the J2 Pro is an 8 megapixel unit which supports LED flash. The secondary camera on the other hand is a 5 megapixel unit that is good enough to suffice the selfie addict’s weekend trip needs.

This is a dual-SIM smartphone that supports 4G connectivity. The dimensions on the phone are 142.4 x 71.1 x 8 mm. The battery capacity on the J2 Pro is 2600 mAh. While this battery capacity is certainly good enough for a budget phone there is no denying that a number of other smartphone brands are offering better battery specs in this price segment than the J2 Pro. The Smart Glow is certainly an industry first and a one of a kind feature on the J2 Pro. The Samsung Smart Glow essentially comes with three basic features as of now. These are the priority alerts, usage alerts, and the selfie assists. The first two work as an advance notification system of sorts by providing the user with alerts when a user defined priority is encountered by the system or when the usage on the phone exceeds the usage limit.

The selfie assist is the real clincher for the Smart Glow feature. It will take automatic selfies but only when, for example, the user’s face is completely in frame so as to allow for a good image capture. The Samsung Smart Glow is a neat new feature and we can’t wait to see how Samsung expands its use cases in future.
