Samsung Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition launched at $999.99

Samsung is the largest smartphone and tab giant and with this it has maintained the reign with launch of Samsung Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition. Samsung launched in January Galaxy TabPro S which was the first Galaxy to run on Windows 10 OS and now has launched the Gold edition with upgraded specifications. The device currently will be available in US via Samsung’s Online store and the sale starts from Saturday at $999.99 (approximately Rs 66,700).The phone is not only a gold variant but has upgraded specifications in comparison to its regular old version.

Specification Highlights

• The Gold version of Samsung Galaxy TabPro S comes with double memory of 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM in comparison with the previous launch that has memory of 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

• The Galaxy TabPro S Gold variants runs on Windows 10 OS which is similar to the January Launch. It is powered by 2.2 GHz Intel core M3 processor.

• The new launch sports a screen of 12 inch with a screen resolution of 2,160 x 1,440 along with Super AMOLED display for better clarity.

• The gold edition sports a front and rear camera both of 5-megapixel and takes pictures with added camera features.

Connectivity and Convenience

The Samsung tablet offers great connectivity with support for high speed internet browsing and is compatible with Wi-Fi connectivity. The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S has bluetooth compatibility for instant data share along with USB Type C port. It is light in weight weighing only 694 gms. The outlook of the tab is very elegant with gold uni colour body. It is backed by a battery support of 5200mAh that can give up to 10.5 hours of life with single charge. The device comes with fast charging capability and the device can be fully charged in 2.5 hours.

Conclusion

The new variant is only available in US through online stores of Samsung and comes with memory upgrade from the January launch. There is no information as of now about the launch of Galaxy TabPro S in India although it was expected to be launched in April but it did not. The new variant is also only launched in US currently and there is no heads up about the launch of it in international markets. The gold variant with Windows 10 and 8GB RAM is up for sale from Saturday.
