Samsung India declares to offer free Gear VR: Customers who pre-booked Galaxy Note 7 to get benefits for delay in shipment

Samsung declared to compensate the customers who had pre-booked Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with Samsung Gear VR. This is offered for the unexpected delay in shipping of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Why there was a Delay?
