Samsung to launch Galaxy J3 soon in India by 2017, specifications and price leaked

The first Galaxy J3 was launched by Samsung last year and this year saw the launch of its upgraded version namely Galaxy J3 Pro. There are fresh leaks by tipster Evan Blass who tipped on launch of Galaxy J3 in 2017 by sharing a press render. The successor of Galaxy J3 is expected to be soon launched in 2017 but yet there is no official announcement by Samsung regarding this.

Highlights of the phone

• It is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS to ensure smooth application run and to be powered by Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 for superior performance. It is to have TouchWiz UI skin on top.

• The phone may be coupled with either 1.5GB or 2GB RAM but there is no say of the inbuilt ROM that might be included.

• It is designed like any other Samsung galaxy phones sporting capacitive buttons for navigation and is expected to have a capsule like home button. On the right side of the phone, we can expect the power button while the volume button might be on the left edge.

• The Samsung phone is to have great connectivity with support for 4G VoLTE along with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and other regular connectivity features.

Last launch and Price

Last year around same time in the month of November Galaxy J3 (2015) was launched and thus the new phone is expected to be launched nearly in the same time frame or after. The specifications of the phone have been floating across many internet sites including Geekbench. Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) which was launched last year came in March and was launched at a price of Rs 8,990. The exclusive feature of the phone was its “S-Bike Mode” that ensured phone controlling while riding phone. The feature enabled one to reply to call automatically with messaged that were pre-recorded. Motion Lock was also an inclusion of the “S-Bike mode” which required the user to stop the bike in case they need to attend an urgent call.

Conclusion

The specifications, price and information about launch is not yet announced by Samsung but according to Zauba listing, Samsung Galaxy J3(2017) is expected to be launched at Rs 6,800 and the launch will soon be made in India as well. The price that is currently leaked is not the accurate price and is for excise purpose only and we cannot be sure of anything regarding the phone until Samsung utters anything officially.
