Specification leaks of Vivo V5, Vivo V5 Plus indicates 20 Megapixels camera

Vivo is all set to launch its latest in wagon Vivo V5 and Vivo V5 Plus in an event in Mumbai but before the launch the specification leaks is doing the rounds of the internet. The schedule date for the launch event is 15th November, 2016 and the company sent invites with a picture of the lens of the phone indicating change in the camera specification. The invites are sent to media with the tagline – “selfie evolution” and tipped on the smartphone being selfie focused one. According the latest leaks the front facing camera is confirmed to be of 20-Megapixels and has video calling option.
Specification of Vivo V5
• The phone is expected to be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow with support by 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa-Core SoC processor enabling superior performance.
• The phone is expected to have an internal memory of 4GB RAM along with an 32GB ROM which can be further expanded by 128GB in microSD card.
• The Vivo phone is tipped to sport a rear camera of 13 Megapixel with LED flash and the main attraction of the phone is its 20 Megapixel front camera with Moonlight flash.
• It flaunts a display screen of 5.5 inch in HD that is protected using Gorilla Glass 3 protection for making it scratch resistant.
Connectivity and others
The phone is to be backed by great connectivity features with support of 4G VoLTE support along with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 ac for instant internet access. It also has bluetooth for sharing of data. The phone is backed by a battery support of 3000mAh that gives longer talktime duration. The phone boasts of high quality of audio with Hi-Fi audio chip. The only difference between Vivo V5 and Vivo V5 Plus is in terms of resolution display and battery size.
Conclusion
There is no confirmation as of now about the price at which the phones will be launched but Vivo V5 is expected to be launched at price of Rs 20,000 and the Vivo V5 plus at Rs. 25,000. However the prices are not yet confirmed till the actual phone launch happens. With the launch it is expected to face tough competition from competitors like Oppo and Gionee.
