‘Squeezable Phone’ HTC U is all Set to Launch on 16 May

HTC U Smartphone is there in the news from a long time and the leaks as well as rumors about the new HTC devices are still spreading via various sources. The official teaser from HTC has been launched and the firm has also announced that the device will be unveiled on 16 May which means the rumors about the device will be ended soon. Earlier leaked images of the device suggest that HTC U will have a Glass Back and Fingerprint Sensor while one more report told that the device will have IP57 Certification and won’t have 3.5 mm Audio Jack. HTC U Smartphone will have “The Edge Sensor” which means Sensors on the Sides of the device. This feature will allow the user to open apps quickly as well as perform various tasks by just Swiping, Squeezing or Tapping the Metal Edges of the Smartphone. Leaks suggest that Sensors will be located on the Bottom Half Edge of the Device, exactly where the users normally grip the Device.

Expected Specifications of HTC U Smartphone :

The Dual SIM Smartphone may run Android 7.1 Nougat OS. The device may pack a 5.5 Inch QHD Display Screen with 1440 x 2560 Pixels Resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. Powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, the device may have either 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB Internal Storage. The HTC Smartphone may feature a 12 megapixel Sony IMX362 Sensor at Back and a 16 megapixel IMX351 Sensor at Front. The device may have 3000 mAh Battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Other features that HTC U may feature are Wifi, Bluetooth, Dual Speakers (on Top and Bottom), USB Type-C Port, HTC’s USonic Earphone Support and Video and Image Capture with “Smart Video Zoom” support.
