Two phones expected to be launched by Asus at Zennovation on 4th January in Pre-CES event 2017

CES 2017 is the largest consumer good events conducted every year in Vegas where companies showcase their upcoming products. Asus announced that it will organise ‘Zennovation’ event on 4th Jan at CES 2017. As per the latest teaser video by Asus the company is to launch two of its new smartphones during Zennovation on 4th January. However the video doesn’t say much about what phones are they and their names.

The teaser video implies that the company will launch two of its phone during Zennovation on 4th January but the names of the phone are not yet known. The video doesn’t even speak about any sort of specifications by the phone. But one of the phone’s display shows inverted “V” image and the other shows an infinity symbol. We can only predict that the symbol may have some connection with the names of the phones.

Expected launch by Asus during CES 2017

According to a report last Asus is to launch the Google Tango ready smartphone during CES 2017 under the name ZenFoneAR. According to the report about the launch of the ZenfoneAR the CEO of the company Sherry Shen said the phone will be launched at CES 2017. He also said that – “ZenFone AR is integrated with advanced functionality and performance at competitive price.” During the CES 2017 the launch of ZenFone 4 range is also expected although as per reports the phone is to be launched in second quarter of 2017. Zenfone 3 Zoom is another phone that is expected to be launched and is recently certified. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC along with dual camera set-up and a 13-megapixel front camera and battery of 4850 mAh. The phone may or may not offer optical zoom option.

The phones are to be unveiled during Zennovation which is pre-CES event on 4th January. Recently Asus made ZenFone 3 (ZC553KL) model available in India at a price of Rs 17,999 and can be purchased using offline retail outlets and e-commerce sites. The phone is available in three colour variants of Glacier Silver, Titanium Gray and Sand Gold colours.
