Videocon launched Ultra50 in India at Rs 8,990, up for sale from November first week

Videocon is known for making pocket friendly and in budget smart phones and with this Videocon launched its latest smartphone Videocon Ultra50 at Rs 8,990. The phone will be available for sale on both offline and online platforms from first week of November onwards. Previously last month Videocon launched its Cube 3 smartphone.

Feature Highlights of phone

• It is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow for smooth operation and runs on 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6735 Quad Core processor with Mali-T720 GPU with 64-bit architecture.

• It has an internal memory of 3GB RAM and also comes with 32GB ROM which can be further expanded by up to 64GB in MicroSD card.

• It has HD display screen of 5 inch with screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels along with IPS display and is backed by Asahi Dragon tail Glass Protection.

• It has a rear camera of 13-megapixel with PDAF, LED flash and has a selfie clicker of 5-megapixel with LED flash.

Other features and connectivity

It is light in weight and has great connectivity features which include 4G VoLTE support, is compatible with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth for instant data transfer, GPS and FM Radio. It comes with battery of 3000mAh that gives talktime of 8 hours and standby time of 350 hours. It supports dual-SIM and comes with fingerprint sensor. One of the exclusive features of the phone is the in-built emergency response app called “SOS-BE-Safe” and through this one can use the power button as panic button to send alert messages to numbers added in emergency list when required. The phone also has dual Whatsapp feature enabling the user to use two Whatsapp accounts. The phone allows gesture control and shortcuts. By pressing the ‘M’ button one can start playing music, ‘C’ will launch camera, ‘O’ will start flash light etc.
