Vivo X7 and X7 Plus with Great Camera Specs Launched in China

Vivo has unveiled two smartphones in China that it has been teasing for quite some time now. The Vivo X7 and the Vivo X7 Plus are making their way to the Chinese market. Let’s take a quick look at the specifications on these phones.

Specifications – Vivo X7

The Vivo X7 comes with a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display that has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. This display is a 2.5D curved glass display so it comes with a layer of protection that will help the phone cope with a few minor falls and scratches.

The phone comes with a 1.8 GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor alongside an Adreno 510 GPU. This is one of Qualcomm’s most powerful processing units. This combined with a 4 GB RAM will make the Vivo X7 one of the top performing Android phone. The internal storage on the phone is 64 GB, which will certainly make some of the folks who like carrying movies and videos around very happy.

The USP of the Vivo X7 is its camera configuration. The primary camera on the phone is a 13 megapixel unit which supports LED flash and Phase Detection Auto-focus. The Vivo X7 Plus is a slightly bigger cousin of the Vivo X7. The X7 Plus comes with a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display. It has a 128 GB internal storage option. It has the same processor and RAM configuration though. It is slightly heavier at 183.5 grams and boasts of a really good 4000 mAh battery. That is one of the best batteries Vivo has offered on its smartphones in recent times.

The phone also has a fingerprint sensor and the battery supports Fast charging technology. The X7 Plus is also a dual-SIM phone with support for 4G connectivity. Other than the display and the battery the only major change to the X7 Plus is in the camera department, which is understandable as both the phones are being touted as the best camera phones from Vivo in the marketing campaigns.

Both the primary and the secondary camera on the X7 Plus are 16 megapixel units. The primary camera features the IMX298 sensor, LED flash, and Phase Detection Auto-focus, while the secondary camera features soft LED flash. This camera configuration definitely does make a case for the X7 and the X7 Plus being two of the very best camera phones going around.

The Chinese market’s response to the phones may be a bit different to the Indian market’s response but for now we will just have to wait and see how these two new Vivo phones stack up against a plethora of other great phones from China’s astounding smartphone ecosystem.
