iBall Slide WQ32 Tablet Price in India
The most budget friendly tablet from Windows has been released with the name iBall Slide WQ32. The first impression of the tablet is very interesting. It has a decent build quality, much better looking display along with a low price. All these features make this table an eye catching device. It has been powered by latest hardware and Windows 8.1 OS along with 1 year subscription of Microsoft Office 365. What all other features, technologies and performance it has to provide is explored in this article in detail.
Features and Specifications
It has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage but this much on board memory is too less to install an app because Windows even requires 10GB. So a microSd card slot has been provided with the tablet which extends the memory up to 64GB but this doesn’t allow the installation of apps in it. It provided Wi-Fi as well as 3G connectivity thus making it the lowest priced tablet available in market from Windows having 3G connectivity feature. It has a set of stereo speakers located at the bottom of it which performs their duty very well. It comes with 5MP rear camera which can only take picture in day light. The front 2MP camera is also okay and can only be used for video chats. It runs on 1.33GHz Intel Quad-core processor along with 2800 Li-ion removable battery.
Design and Quality
The iBall Slide WQ32 is an 8inch plastic tablet and its look is very much generic in feel. The plastic material used for the construction of this tablet makes it more of a Samsung like look and feel. The built quality is very nice which an interesting aspect of this device. The tablet is well sized but little over weight as it weighs 354g. Though it feels light in the start but with continuous use, it will bring strain on user wrist and will be hard to be used by one hand. The 8-inch screen is large enough to give sharp resolution of 1200x800p and can be interestingly used for reading and watching videos even at night. The screen may give some problem if used under direct sunlight. Except for Windows home button, this tablet cannot be differentiated from any Android tablet. The micro-US and micro-HDMI ports are located at the top of the tablet. The power along with volume keys are placed at the right side along with the flap covering the SIM and microSD card slot is located under it. It has wide bezels on all sides. One can connect it with a wireless mouse or keyboard to use it like laptop.
OS and Tech
It operates on Windows 8.1 OS along with Bing but this is not free from cons while handling it on 8-inch large screen. When reading books in portrait mode or playing games on it, the UI looks nice but when one switches to desktop mode, the scene is completely different. Windows desktop modes do not work well for large screens. Thought the OS performs very well and gives a good deal of multitasking.
Camera and Multimedia
It has dual cameras, 5MP rear camera with auto focus feature along with LED flash and a 2MP front camera. The performance of both the cameras is very nice. The rear camera can also be used for video recording purposes and the video quality it generates is very good. The front camera is used for video chats giving a wonderful quality. The camera works well under light and gives reasonable picture quality under dim light.
Battery and Memory
The battery life in this tablet is 2800mAh Li-ion which is non-removable. So you cannot replace battery whenever it runs short of charge. Through the battery life is much less to support the powerful screen and multiple apps but battery features makes it convenient to use this tablet for quite decent hours. The full HD video playing even gets it last for 4hrs. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB on board storage which can be extendible up to 64GB through microSD card slot but apps cannot be installed on external memory.
Pros and Cons
For pros:
• 2G and 3G support
• Large display of 8-inch
• Good camera performance
• Powerful processor
• OneDrive free cloud storage of 1TB
• Good built quality
For cons:

It has the capability to handle professional tasks in a very smart ad effective manner. Keeping aside the few discrepancies, overall this is a good tablet and worth buying.
