The HTC Desire XDS has balanced features in various aspects to appeal as an entry level phone. However, there are shortcomings on certain sections such as RAM and internal storage. There are several devices on similar price range below Rs.13,000 which have better specs. However, for students and first time buyers, the phone would be valuable addition. The model is competing with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4G, Yu Yureka, Huawei Honor 4C, and Lenovo A7000.
